The activity started in the 60th from a specific requirement in the field of fusing machines. We are talking about the needing of precise an uniform pressure along all the surface of fabric and leather: from here the great intuition of the "pressure lung". The first machine with this pressure system was born in 1965, model VARIABIL MEPP 130, serial number 001, at it goes on working until 1996. Fifteen years later a new kind of fusing machine is growing: the continuous working machines between which the new OPEN TOP and, lately the X series
The success of this new rolls fusing machine contributes to a remarkable expansion of the company as at a national level, an at an international level. So to arrive to nowadays and, from small family laboratory, MARTIN GROUP becomes a company with a productive unit of 4000 sq meters, 80 collaborators with several satellite companies that take care of commercialization and service all over the world.
All of this finalized to produce a range of around 30 different models of machines with Italian high technology, of which over 50% for export.
Our machines have a very high relevance also in leather industry: for bag, shoes and leather garment.
The company is also specialized in the production of accessories for fusing machines: stackers-unloaders, cold feeding belts, devices to fuse the whole roll of fabric, particular customized fusing machine for unusual applications.
The capillary post selling service and the very high experience matured on field from MARTIN GROUP team, complete the circle of a meticulous activity, as under commercial, as under technological aspect.

About us
MEPP series is really highly appreciated for its versatility: goes from ironing, to fusing leather, to press, to attach reinforcements. The Martin Group story began in the 1960s when Gino Pacini founded Variabil Motor, a company specialized in the production of fusing machines for thermoadhesive transfers for fabrics and leathers. This innovation immediately became a characteristic trait of the company. [read more]
